  • way cool... :)

  • nice nice work

  • the metal rims around the sound holes, where do you get those?

  • how much and what is it tuned to

  • Dude your voice is like cross between Dane Cook & Daniel Tosh.

  • what's the tuning on this guitar? Killer guitar btw!

  • what pickup are you using and what tuning??

  • Very nice !!

  • Whats the best strings to use for a 3 string guitar? Nylon or steel? Whats most common and whats used in this video?

  • He's using steel strings (notice the pickup -- those won't work with nylon). Nylon strings are easier on the guitar and don't put as much tension on the neck, etc. If you wanted it amped, though, you'd have to use a piezo pickup. I'm putting bronze-sound strings on my first CBG (tomorrow, knock on wood!) because that was all they had at the shop that would give me the low G without having a much longer neck. Next time, I might try a different shop but this will do for now.

  • @anbujaked well it would have to be steel or nickel because nylon won't pickup

  • what kind of pickup are you using?

  • damb now nothing can stop me from making one :P

  • im tryin to make one with whammybar

  • @frederiktygesen I figured out a way by putting a cam right BEHIND the nut, so when you push it down it tensions.. you can't make the notes lower though

  • WAAASSSSUUUUPP

  • how did u add the pickup? Ive been tryin to do it for ever

  • Hey man this is awesome.

  • dude, that's some heavy blues....

  • kool

  • hahah all make 1 now!! so easy so fun!

  • Wow nice distortion. It sounds like... a mix of doom metal and blues.

  • And it's awesome for that reason alone.

  • yeah man, plus the reverb gives it a very slightly spaced out psychedelic feel to it. you into stoner metal?

i would love to play stoner metal on a cigar box guitar like this lol.

  • @ARVNpistola313 More like blues and rock?

  • @hojima

Yea, I was a little new to blues rock back then lol.

  • err! frickin radio's on!

    sounds awesome though!

  • love it really evil sound plugged in mabie turn the dist down a little though but great work

  • I don't know how did you do that, but it sounds almost like acoustic guitar.

  • That sounded pretty awesome with the slide

  • oh sorry but i get down pretty good with 3 strings
