i know its hard to learn this program on your own...ive done it! i suggest you just open a folder called testing and just do what ever you want to a random video, i did it and im onlt 12 years old i am sure u can do it to!
the most recent thing i learned was how to make something in 3 d
Thanks for the advice. I am actually changing my career path right now, so I dont have a need to know about these kind of things. However I still find video editing interesting and useful so I might take a part time course on the side at some point!
Premiere Elements is definitely easier for basic tasks though, I found that out not too long after posting this video!
once you learn basics of editing the tried and true "Push Buttons" method of learning a new editing program will usually pan out with a bit more success. i have always learned my best lessons from doing things the wrong way and then discovering the right way lol.
Hmmm. sounds to me like you need to pick up some editing (in general) tutorials. Most higher end editing programs are similar with the exception of a few. These will teach you the basics. i do not have any links for any at the moment, but should not be too hard to find. Or maybe a local community college might have an editing class you could take. Good luck with the program. hope you find what you need out there.
i taught my self how to use the first version the second version its kinda the same...well to me...i used abode premiere. but yeah right now on the second version of adobe i cant figuere out the right rendering settings.
i got it! its like one gig big..but what i do is after i export the video out of adobe i put it on wmm. Go to Export vid, and then go to adobe media encoder. and then click on mpeg 2 for format.
I've used a few versions of Premiere. The older versions (5-6) had an "import project" command which came in handy when "splicing" projects together: open your first project, then import your other project to the end of the timeline. That's how it used to be. I gave up goofing around with Premiere until Premiere Elements came out. With this program you have to export your project as a movie then re-import the file into your open project.
I know just how you feel. Premiere is complex. You need a guide. By now you've gotten lots of help. I get CD and DVD-based tutorials on eBay. The older the version, the cheaper they are. I also get used books on Amazon. Here's one I have in my hand: Premiere Pro 1.5 Studio Techniques by Jacob Rosenberg.
I know how you feel...I started with a smaller program and fundamental version of vegas by sony and now I am using adobe premiere pro 2.0, I hope to upgrade sooner or later. I dont quite understand what you want to do, so are talking like adding a transition from on e video to the next or just splicing them together....Keep looking on you tube becuase I have seen basic editing tutorials...type in adobe premiere pro tutorials....Best of Luck to You.
OK, put one video in video1 and another in video2, then go to video effects and press the one called "channel" then drag "blend" into both videos and and the one video that is over video1 have the fader go up from over on video2 and you should have the effect work then press export, or export mpeg for shorte mgb videos to post on youtube.
ok ill see what I can do to help you out. I'll just make a series from beginner to advanced. Or what I consider to be advanced anyways, lol. If u ever think of anything that you would like to see done then just let me know. I'm not an expert at the program but, I can show you what I have learned so far on my own.
well i like to learn new stuff, so whatever things u think are explainable id be happy to watch.
The things I wanted to do were to create a video made up of various small clips. Be able to add text to it, make a frame of text that i can put into a specific point of a video, maybe like a question or something...Then be able to have my video response come straight after. (p.s- im not too good at explaining some things!) Im sure anything you could show me would be awesome.
Is there any particular thing that you wanted to do or that you had in mind. Its such a big program I would prob end up boring you to death if I made a vid on all the stuff that I know, lol.
Im working on tutorial wich show how to make a title and animate it with keyframes. keyframes are used 90% during editing of a movie, so with that info ur good away :). il let u know when its on youtube!
