Gross...but effective....I am torn on this technique...I like the colourful effect...but do not like how the canvas looks...contradictory I know...but how I feel...but again...very effective result....a personal painting hangup......it also uses lots of paint...maybe as a poor student i have a hard time rationalizing using all of this paint for one small picture. Something like that I am sure.
