Man this boss was one of my favourite in the game but the only problems I have with it is 1. its the last time you hear the epic still more fighting music in the entire music (I mean shinra theme didn't suit proud clod at all). 2. you don't get to kill it and it doesn't even use its strongest attack possibly indicating it wasn't really interested in fighting party. 3. shinra the death scene of it looks very saddening for me idk I feel sorry for it more then all the other weapons.

@Zashtheman Umm about Cids ultimate weapon you get it in the 2nd disc, after the scene where the old rocket is launched in rocket town. You talk to the old man 3 times and he gives you it. 2nd disc, you dont have to wait for the third disc.

Do you have Cid's ultimate weapon? It's super easy to get and is based off of magic damage, so i made him my mage. I do about 7500 per hit with it once i got it.

What makes you think that? None of the weapons have magic damage. And the old man doesn't give it to you until third CD.

If you want proof that it doesn't do magic damage, all you have to do is use it against Ruby Weapon.

I got it in disk 2, im using the UK version. And its not magic damage, it's based of your magic power or something. heard that in some guide.

Hm, ok. I've only played the PAL version and he doesn't give it to me unless I'm on third disc.

What you're looking for is it's based on your Mp. The same way Ultima Weapon is based on clouds current health %, Cid's weapon is based on current % Mp.

Oh, ok. Well i have a bunch of materia that adds Mp for him, uncluding the MP BOOST which is 10 or 20% i think.

It doesn't work at first because you have to earn 5000 AP to level it up. Once leveled (2 stars), you will be able to use Ultima.

@Zashtheman You can get his ultimate weapon after the rocket is shot into the sky, and is meant to do damage, depending on his Mana level
