@gabe2304 Ok heres how it works. They pause the video and cut the cap of a glow stick off and pour the liquid in to the botttle. Then you do all that stuff that does NOTHING the peroxcide just helps it glow the baking soda and moutain dew do NOTHING. and P.S. just cause you saw another vid dosn't mean its true it just means more than one person is tring to trick you.

you have to have a fourth of the bottle not 1/4 inch. try it again with a fourth of the bottle because it worked for me(need more mountin dew)

@DJSmugg I'm the one who did this video before I got my own channel. Twilight8888's video said to use 1/4" (the " representing inches), but I also tried it again and used 1/4th of the bottle. Still didn't work. Just sayin' =P

nice work debunking the mountain dew. I work with real glowing chemicals (see my channel) and it drives me up the wall that people blindly believe mountain dew can glow without testing it themselves.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I sat there and went over the ingredients of the Dew with an intelligent friend, and it made know impact. It is on video, it must be true. I guess to most folks chems are chems, and mixing them randomly is bound to cause smoke and light. I have had several people bring this to my attention and I just keep my mouth shut. Lost energy mentioning the phenyl oxalate bottle on the shelf at work.
