effect monsters activate after damage calculation...not damage step. so if chivalry is activated to negate. it's no longer damage calculation and proceeds to "after counter trap is activated". that's what I think. =O

Wow...Van'Dalgyon's effect to special summon would NOT work since it was damage step. You cannot special summon a monster in damage step unless the monster specifically says you can such as Gorz or Trag.

Also i'm guessing the X-Saber player either doesn't have Emmersblades or this is game 2 cause i saw Ryko and Snowman Eater which are quite ' techy ' to run in the main.

@Racingboy16z It's Counter Fairy there isn't room for that, the tking would have died, keeping a wall that would also prevent vandalgyon from coming out.

@McNetDeck what are you talking about?? I was refering to why the saber player didnt trap stun when his snowman eater was attacked. He was probally trying to save it so that he could go aggro...I dont know what you were refering too.

I don't think you're allowed to activate any trap during the damage step, but im not sure

@09GhettoGandhi you can active cards that negate effects, cards that increse or decrese attack during the dmg step I believe...which is why you can negate honest and kalut with gb war chatiot and divine wrath..and chivalry for that situation
