  • wow thats loking good, surprisingly fast too

  • @facebiter

    Thx,

But it is almost twice as fast as in the video now.

    thanks to the 3s lipos.

  • @Gurjen95 I just bought the tt-01 with the fairlady z body. I swapped the stock motor with a Dynamite Fuze 3300kv and I am now waiting for the aluminum propellor shaft. My question is...what is the stock gear ratio? Should I switch it up? I am running a 4000mha 3s 11.1v battery. Thank you and nice video.

  • @Tikitxiki2

    Hi,

the stock gear ratio is: 19t - 61t.

I should try first with the stock ratio and if you don't like it or the speed is not fast enough you could change to something like: 24/58t or 25/55t.

btw: if you are used to the stock motor + stock ratio + 7.2v battery, i think you will also agree with the stock ratio. Because it will surprise you ;).

  • @Gurjen95 i am quite happy with the stock ratio actually. to be honest, its even faster than i thought. thanks for the quick reply. cant wait to get the aluminum drive shaft because the torque the motor produces is bending the stock plastic shaft and ends up hitting the upper mount and therefore stops the motor.

  • What gear ratio do u have on that and what battery lipo, nimh or nicd

  • @GenetiX881

In this video the ratio is 25/55t. Battery is a 3000mah nimh.

At this moment the ratio is 28/55t and i have a zippy 4000mah 40c 3s lipo.

And that is a big difference with the old nimh.

  • have you changed the diff?

i have a stock diff in mine and it got worn out after about an hour but i got a 9t motor on 11.1v, was just wanting to get some ideas as to why like certain screws being loose or is there just too much power for the diffs (as it is mainly the back ones with most of the weight behind them). and what diff do you recommend?

  • @dezzaovsutton1990

I actually still have the first diffs. So i haven't any experience with others, sorry.

I have since a short time 11.1v lipo and my diffs are still intact. I can't say that about the spur and pinion :P.

They don't survived. I don't know how my diffs look now, but as long as they work it is okay isn't it?

I think your diffs worn out because of the power: 9t + 11.1v = smooth gears

Sorry if my english is bad :P

  • @Gurjen95 thanks for the reply back, i think my pinion and spur will wear soon they just haven't had the time to yet with the diffs wearing straight away, i think ill go with the ball diffs. and your english is good dude,

better than my german anyway. lol

  • @dezzaovsutton1990

I'm actually not a german :P. I'm from holland. And i think you don't even know one word dutch :D.

I hope that the new diffs will live longer :P.

  • hi i have the ezrun 9t with 35esc and 5200 lipo 7.4 on tt01d what you recommend for the gear ratio ? thank you

  • @thespirit7777

With the 9t the tt-01 has enough top-speed with the stock gearring. Also than it has a big accelaration.

if you want to go faster i'll recommend you 25/55t

  • i am going to use the 60A ezrun brushless ESC and a 3200kv tacon motor on a mihn battery i will upgrade later to lipo. because first i want to learn all about lipo batteries. so for that set up what gears would you recommend i have my tt01 stock 61/19.

  • @supersanchez1991

I would recommend you 25/55t for a good combination of accelaration and top-speed.

  • ebay.

  • @meamjustme

welk merk, en heb je ze al geprobeerd??? :)

  • Wich battery do you use?

I have the 35 a ESC and the 9t vinned motor. On a cheapo 3s lipo i got 59 kmpu. And than i ran out of space XD

Thinking of a bullitstorm 60a ESC. They just cost around $25. Cant really go wrong XD

  • @meamjustme

I use the own-brand batteries from conrad.nl, they are cheap and good for beginners. but i want to switch to lipo so then i've got some more power. i dont know exactly how fast it drives, but i think about 50km/u. I have never test so i'm not sure i'm right :P

  • @Gurjen95 Conrad is een beetje aan de dure kant ^^

Ik heb 4 nimh accu's. Dont like them XD

Bijna geen power meer. Gister 2 nieuwe lipo's binnen gekregen. 2s en 3s. 5000 mah. Samen voor €30. :)

  • @meamjustme
