You are very right, though 5th Element was a comedy in itself as well as sci-fi. =P And I suppose in SK they just needed to make the movie a bit not so unserious with all the Jackie Chan fighting and Owen's character's silliness. But Aidan Gillen was absolutely stunning! I can't get him out of my head ever since. haha
