@SteveJobs6 did you get one? I'm dismantling the same model as above... you can have the keyboard if you send me the postage costs... i see ur profile says CA... if thats for California, it'd be about €5 to post it to you, and about $3.50 for packaging material

@mubasher it should be under the acsess panel on the botom of the laptop, if not take it apart and it will be wraped in tape with red and black wires comeing off it, and not leading to anythin else

I probably sound like a complete idiot asking about this but, how do I get the part that's above the fan and all that off? mine seems to be stuck to the computer.

I was trying to reset the BIOS...I dont see any jumpers. Do you know where they would be on this?

@DRUNKINSKATER Your going to have to remove CMOS Battery, Laptop Battery, HOLD POWER button to drain power from the laptop. Locate the jumber, they are two triangular copper pads that will be found underneath the translucent protective tape BELOW THE RAM!!!

@ElizabethN2002 I never did try to hold the power button. So it's remove everything, hold power button to drain power, then plug it in and connect the jumpers then hit power? Have you tried to clear the CMOS on one of these? Im almost convinced my laptop is messed up.

@DRUNKINSKATER no no no... trust me I had to do an HP and I thought the same thing at first. I let it sit for about 10mins and nothing so then I let it sit for about 1hour and then it let me get into the bios. You just have to remove CMOS Battery, Remove batter, and Drain POWER by holding power button, and let it sit like that for 1hour

@infernalpepe99 Mejor cuidao? Masbien esa computadora me la regalo un señor que solo la tuvo 2/3 meses. Jajajaa..Lo que pasa es que esa computadora ya no servia para nada y pues la desarme para venderle las partes que todavia estan buenas.

Claro si nos ponemos a las cosas de uno, la computadora que yo tengo ahorita la cuido mucho porque yo se que cuestan caro.
