This is one of my favorite movies of the 80's. Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Randee Heller were just brilliant. Oh and I loved Elisabeth Shue, especially her character. Unfortunately, nowadays stupid girls prefer brainless muscular ill-bred playboys with rich cars & zero personality. Sad, very sad. The Karate Kid was wonderful and so realistic film! I miss the 80's

KK1 and KK2 are good. KK3 jumped the shark when it came to Daniel being afraid of Barnes after he'd defeated Chozen(who would've murdered Barnes) in KK2. My highlight in KK3 is when Miyagi went into the Cobra Kai dojo and took out Barnes, Kreese, and then toyed Silver in defeating him as well
