Smart people bounce back for as long as the rubber lasts. I hope there aren't any more falls in our Liza's future, but if there must be any, I am absolutely sure she will bounce back succesfully. And the day that she, the great phoenix bird, Liza May Minnelli will have a smile on her face, just like Elsie. The sheer joy that arrives after a lifetime doing what one does best and loves the most. I just wish I can feel the same one day.
When ignorant people claim that her only achievement is being "Judy's daughter", I cringe. Not to bring Judy down here, but Liza's won ALL of the major awards in the entertainment business, something Judy did not manage to accomplish. Perhaps Judy should be known as "Liza's mother", instead.
When she's little and says 'Mommy's at home.' It's almost as if she's being deliberately vague. She actually looks slightly annoyed with the interviewer. lol
There is no one who can command an audience like our Liza. A lot of "critics" wrote her off, but her current world tour proves all of them wrong, she has guts and stamina that other "stars" cannot come close to. Go Liza
She did not steel the show from her mother, nor did she ever reach the heights her mother did; what rubbish!

Liza has been through alot, just like her mother before her. I admire her ability to bounce back she's wonderful.

oh my when she speaks in 1963 of not thinking she's a star but loving working working in the theeatre a tear came to my eye - so modest and adorable
