Great stuff! I love to find alternatives to the pricey craft products especially Tim Holtz stuff. Ebay is a great place for cheap vintage keys, watch parts, pen nibs, lace etc.

This was the perfect tutorial for me! I bought Ranger inks but didn't get blending solution or the pads. I was wondering if there was an alternative (like felt from the craft section!). and didn't even realize I needed blending solution... thanks!

you have a nice soothing voice. I like the way you do your tutorials. some people are so boring that they annoy me or put me to sleep.. Very nice. Thanks for doing the experiments and showing us how they work out, and telling us what one needs to buy and when one can make a substitution. I also liked seeing you use the Fiskar knife--I had always wondered if it was easier to use than a straight-handled knife, and you made it look like it was.
