THANKS! i got an interview in like an hour! :) this video was very helpful!! Wish me luck! ^_^ see my town i live in is small and no many hire around here..soo im solucky to have this interviewww finally! and lucky to have found your video. :) and yes i agree with @Doubleshaat 's comment. "3 people didn't get the job." from the 3 people who disliked this video.so if I dont get the job.i'll come back in dislike. ;) hahah justkidding. Great vid!
I hate being nervous for interviews because I'm one of those people who loses the ability to think about what to say and make mistakes so it is hard for me. I look at it as I'll go in do my best and if they like me they like me and if they don't well that's how it goes unfortunately but as long as I know I did my best there's nothing else I could have done.
great video, I like the part where you remind people that it is okay to walk in with your own notes. I will have some questions ready for my interview. thank you :)
Don: Thanks for your videos. I teach an English job interview class at a university in South Korea, and I show some of them to my classes. I appreciate that you've put these out there. My only criticism would be that you please borrow a tripod when recording your stand-ups. When I blow your video up large on the projector for the class, the movement is even more pronounced. Thanks!
I have an interview in the morning about damn time, this economy is the pits. Luckily, I've been in enough interviews that I am not nervous, just be yourself

prepare for a job interview - black up, speak some unknown dialogue and bring along an interpreter (witness) to the interview and you'll get the role and have to do fuck all everyday.
then , you can employ your mates in the solid knowledge that the company your are emplyed at will take a nose dive in service delivery and quality of work produced. guaranteed !
I have been rejected so many times but i keep pushing. Just recently, I learned how to answer those questions and .. Right now, I'm making a draft for possible questions, as well as my answers.

Having worked for Brent Council in London I can tell you for a FACT that getting a job comes down to your ethenticity. MANY MANY times we were INSTRUCTED to employ people with less than the required qualifications for a job purely on their colour as to show ethnic diversity and make the difference up.
Imagine people who are qualified going for a job only for it to be given to a useless thrid world unqualified person.
Having worked as a HR Professional I can give you a couple of tips for questions to ask
1. Whom does this position report to?
It is always good to get a name and title of this person and write it down during the interview so you do not forget it.
2. What are the most important qualities that you would like the canidate applying for this position to posses? This gives you a chance to highlight yours.
3. How soon will the company be looking to place the selected canidate into this position?
Your tips are always helpful. Thank you! The segment concerning the allowance of notes was enlightening. I wasn't quite certain if it was professional to bring in written product to an interview.

لا تقلق من عدم قبولك للعمل بعد المقابلة لأن المقبلة تخص صاحب العمل وليس المتقدم للعمل لإختيار الأنسب لما يريد صاحب العمل وليس من هو الأكفأ للعمل

Never have any fear of an interview.
The person across the desk is just another employee. They aren't God. When things get too tense think of them being naked.
Here is my suggestion for you and your future.
Never stay with any company for more than 3 years.
Never go into banking or finance.
Become a Communist and move to China where all the jobs are.
Tell the Interviewer that the reason you are there is because you lost the Presidential race and spent all the funding.
BoomerNavy70 3 years ago
Yeah... nice try but I wasn't sure if you were trying to be funny or serious.

See, it's true. Looks can get you a job.
Here are my rules for a successful interview:
Take any job they have in China because that is where the jobs are. Tell them you're a communist.
Make sure you explain to them that the reason you are here is because they lost all the money you invested in their stock.
The ultimate answer to this trick question; Where do you want to be in five years?
Answer: If I knew the answer to that Honey I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you.
