I appreciate CBS for still showing this special when the rest of these are becoming much harder to find on TV and all. But what they did in terms of editing this part is simply unforgivable.

I just realized that this is the video to the song "Fame and Fortune" with We're a Couple of misfits playing. If you type in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Part 4 uploaded by christmasyeararround, it shows the real video. I read somewhere for time purposes, they cut out "Fame and Fortune" the song and just put the audio for We're a couple of misfits on it for television runnings. Thats why the words don't make up well! Very weird.

@Cheerio753 according to the bonus material on the dvd "were a couple of misfits" was the original song used. it was later decided that this was politically incorrect and" fame and fortune" was used on future tv showings
This is the terrible chopped up version. For some reason the boneheads at ABC took film footage of the fame and fortune song, put it back in, and pasted a sped up and edited version of "We're a Couple of Misfits" over it. My DVD has the actual "Misfits" footage. In it, Hermie punches the snowman that looks like his boss, right in the face. The snowman is ruined by the blow. Also, the fish spits water at Hermie, knocking them both back on their butts.. Lastly, it's TWO owls that say "Who? Who?"
Also, WATCH THE TREES! When the did the "Fame and Fortune" song animation in 1965, they forgot to add snow to the trees. One more detail. In the original "Misfits" sequence, Rudolph crosses the log first, and then Hermie follows. The log DOES NOT fall into the into the gap!

I am gonna try! But I just missed 2 weeks of school from being sick, which means I have to study hard and make-up all the work i missed. So, I will be using half of november to do that instead of making a video. So, that puts me one video behind. I am gonna try to do all 6 though!

This is better than Fame and Fortune which was used from Dec. 1965 - Dec. 1997, starting in 1998 this great reprise returned!!!
