Yet another opportunity for Lang Lang's ego to overshadow the music and, in this case, the poor young student. All one pays attention to are LL's histrionics. At least he's consistent. I've never seen a video of Lang Lang in which he doesn't display his massive adoration of himself.
And why would you think Lang is sight reading that piece? It is quite obvious that neither Lang nor the student is stupid enough to broadcast a teacher teaching someone else that he doesn't know about. He certainly is reading the piece, but it is so overtly implied in the way he teaches that Lang has studied this piece before.
I don't see why you would consider his master class as "vulgar" or in any way something worthless. Obviously, a great majority of us don't understand Chinese, so I won't comment on his language, but besides that, I cannot possibly think of anything that deserves negative comments. Are you just saying that because the way Lang Lang teaches his students is different from that of Daniel Barenboim? If you have had enough interest in Lang, you would know his style and his way of love towards music.
... I bet he knows this music already, it is not some very weird piece... or just most audience didn't music...
anyhow, no one... nearly no one can sight read that fast--to that level... plus what's the point of sight-reading those music for? sight read is only useful when you play anime music... classical music... practice+feeling

at the end, it is either the teacher showing off his skill or the students learned nearly nothing...
frankly, master class is usually for showing off some new musician faces... particularly this one...
