Funny how the singing slips from maori at the start (mostly), to english through the second verse, and then finishes with the maori "Aoteroa" instead of the English. (I guess that shows, maybe, that "God defend New Zealand" is a bit much for average people in New Zealand?
@Andre8306 - in the rugby, they do. In soccer world cup matches, FIFA only allows the music to be played and the crowd sings whatever version they want. Most of this crowd appeared to be singing the maori version because most of them are used to what happens at the rugby when the All Blacks play

Do they sing both Maori and English parts, or just the English part?
