Thats one of the biggest misconceptions about soccer, these guys are not wearing 'full body' protection like in football: if you hit your head too hard, or if you get a kick straight to the knee, it could effectively mean the end of your sport career, and that is not OK.
Something that most people dont understand is that when you play good soccer, you dont need to kick the other person, you just steal the ball from them without fouling them...

You can't tackle people in everyday life, but you can on the football field. I know what you're saying but these fouls are not IMO severe enough to bring about legal action. It's apart of sport, it's an unwanted part, but it happens. Suspend/kick out is all that's needed.

She's from California... so nothing to do with New Mexico there. And then this match wasn't even being played in New Mexico it was in Utah. Those actions where bad and I know she was suspended after the game by the school, but where in the world was the referee and the other two assistant referees during the game, there should be some sort of sanction against these guys too, for not doing their job.

Thats one of the biggest misconceptions about soccer, these guys are not wearing 'full body' protection like in football: if you hit your head too hard, or if you get a kick straight to the knee, it could effectively mean the end of your sport career, and that is not OK.
Something that most people dont understand is that when you play good soccer, you dont need to kick the other person, you just steal the ball from them without fouling them...
