WOW, your project turned out great and I loved seeing it on the water. I am doing a restoration on a 1990 29" Monterey and it is good to see that I am not the only person crazy enough to breath life back into one of these old boats. Outstanding job!

I have painted cars for a very long time but never a boat. I just purchased a 1988 Glassport boat that I want to paint. Do you have to use a special paint or can you use the typical base coat/clear coat that I use on cars? Thanks!
