He said he tried to sell them, he tried to give them away, but he collected soo many at his book store that he decided to burn them, outside his store in a large outdoor grill like thing. What I have learned about people after graduating high school/college is that they might be good at math & maybe good at other classes, yet have absolutely no common sense what so ever. For instance, common sense tells me that Human Evolution along with "Man made global warming" is bull shit & anyone that believes in it is a idiot. Then after like graduating college, most of them end up getting regular blah jobs that they cold have gotten if they wouldn't have went to college at all.
Most jobs don't even require a college education. Most skinny 18-20ish guys I know don't care if they have muscles and my god they are skinny,that saddens me that they could be so BRAINWASHED by the school system that indirectly tells them they don't need to be healthy! For a guy you need to be able to run far AND be big & muscular to be healthy,maybe not like Arnold Schwarzenegger but strong. I grew up on horror movies and rap (my dad allowed me to watch bloody ass horror flicks with him since I was... well... born...). I studied Nietzche at 12 pretty hard core. You are foolish dude, do you have children? If so would you really want them to study Nietzsche or Nihilism. DO you want them listening to bands like Slayer, Iron Madden and other types of Death Metal and Hard Core rap?
Are their things that we should not eat and are in fact dangerous if we put them into our body?

Yes, I want my children to study whatever it is that their minds find curiosity for. I trust my children to wisely evaluate with skeptical reasoning whatever they encounter.
Ideas are not harmful. Books are not harmful. Music is not harmful.
Ideas are not food.

For I did not say pulling books off the shelf was the right solution, I just said that there are Indeed some ideas, some books and some music that is very harmful to ones heart and mind. Then it comes down to parenting. Why are movies rated "R"? So you know not to let children in.Why would anybody subject their kids to Heavy Metal? Remember "I disagree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it"? No Censorship. Takes more than u-tube to wind me up.

Censorship is a slippery slope, One case begets another. "Thats obscene" is followed by "thats immoral" is followed by "thats just wrong" Who becomes the decision maker? The President..some Preacher? Every step taken down that path will be harder and harder to climb back up from. Any talk of banning books should set off alarm bells in every constitutionalist in this country. And I love the constitution.

I grew up on horror movies and rap (my dad allowed me to watch bloody ass horror flicks with him since I was... well... born...). I studied Nietzche at 12 pretty hard core. I started listening to black metal at 13, and that was in 1993 - right when that genre picked up and the members began to burn churches in Norway and people in the U.S. began to imitate them. This is just a small sample of what I was exposed to when I grew up.
...and yet here I am - never once in trouble with the law.

It's funny that you can discern a lifetime of living good and fine by looking at someone's youtube account. But then I guess NOT killing, raping, stealing, etc... means nothing. I was under the impression that judging others was supposed to be a pretty bad offense but you seem to be getting off on it alright.

I recognize your words as a tactic to get me to back down - but I never intended for this to come to bashing and such, I simply wanted to give you an example of a well-adjusted adult who grew up on the things you say corrupt kids.

Tactics, bashing? I don't think so. But I feared that anything I would say constructively that may challenge you would be taken as a weapon against you. Thats why i have not said much. I care but not in a way that would seek to buffet you. Free will is a wonderful thing! Enjoy yourself and do your thing.
