I think when this book FIRST came out, it was $165. I received an email a few months backs with a book preview and perhaps pre-order, but now when I goto the site, the cost is $250. Was it ever $165?

I got it a long time ago and yeah it was 165 plus shipping which brought it up to 195 or something like that. I am not selling my opus. :) 38 pounds? My Lord where are people going to put those.......

Yes it was $165. I ordered it for $165, shipping $28 so total was $193. I was shocked when I saw it today for $249. Guess it pays to pre-order :)

@darnold38 Yeah, that's what I thought too (I pre-ordered), until I saw it on Amazon on Jan 6, 2010, in stock and being sold for $156.87 with free shipping. It's currently out of stock now, but I guess it would be considering the much cheaper price it was at.

I'm tired of having to explain why I think he is to everyone. Just look it up. He wasn't just an amazing entertainer... he was also a humanitarian/philanthropist, who donated to more than 50 charities. He cared a lot about people. To me, he was a prodigy from the start. I could go on with more examples... but seriously, just take some time to look. That's how I found out about the amazing things he's done. He deserves to be able to rest in peace, and remembered for all time... in that respect.

I think the most expensive Opus is $25,000 or something like that. Michael asked for it to be less expensive than the usual so that his fans can buy it. What a sweety!! I wish he was around to see it :( I think Prince's is only 200 pages, compared to Mike's is 400. It's going to be amazing!!

There are people that would gladly buy this Opus. It is quite backlogged. The Opus is worth more than US currency LOL. Really that is a fact.

No not yet but I do know that I talked to them this morning and they are way behind. This will be out of print soon from what I got. I ordered mine at the beginnng and it is still not here. :(

Don't think they ever said they would have "unlimited supplies." I know they are only doing 1 printing. Once those sell out, that's it. Who knows? That could take years. Still, can sell out and the book will then be "out of print"

Just pre-ordered my Michael Jackson Opus. I can't wait to receive it. I feel good about the fact that Michael was excited about this project and was looking foward to its publication. Unfortunately, he didn't live to see it come to fruition. I have no doubt they'll do him proud. I miss him more and more every day.
