you should look into re-jetting the carbs after cutting out the baffles in the exhaust. always keep in mind that more air OUT means more air IN to replace it. if you don't get enough fuel in there with the air then the spark plugs will burn too hot and burn holes in the tops of your pistons. go to your local bike shop and ask them how many times they've seen this happen. as a mechanic myself, i've seen it dozens of times! going up 0.5 to 1.0 jet sizes will keep you safe...

Nice, ive just stuck a stumpied 1/2 viper & 1/2 micron exhaust on mine, sounds similar to yours but slightly deeper :D video should be up soon.
