I like Mel Martin, though, albeit she's very different from Angharad Rees.

Thank you for posting this, I wanted a "look" at this...

I must say, after just finishing watching both of the original series, it may be hard to watch with actors other than the original.

If anything, you may have just piqued my interest in reading the Graham novels-so, thank you!

Read the books, they are and have been my favourite books since i was a teenager. The TV productions are wonderful but the books are still the only way to really discover Ross and Demelza.

I absolutely agree, I can read them over again, such a brilliant story! I love the series and thought the original Ross and Demelza were very well cast, in fact most of the characters were very real, even though they changed the story. I never gave this series a chance really, I might now, but nothing can beat the books!!
