8:28 to about 8:31 I assume you mean? If you watch close the spectator (Tasteless) actually hovers the observer for just a second (you see Hero's name tagged when he hovers the Ob), it's just above the bottom most part of the nexus.

It means don't take a small advantage and try to win with it, take a small advantage and try to make it a bigger advantage so you can eventually have a bigger advantage to use for the victory. It's the 'safer' way to play for the win.

@schmittynation 1/1/1 gives you a really wide base to play from. Its easy to respond to pressure and to build the most effective unit. Hope it helped

@schmittynation It's a terran opening where you build 1 Barrack, followed by 1 Factory and 1 Starport.

@schmittynation what VizViper said is correct you build 1 rax 1 factory and 1 stargate in quick succession although it gives you a lot of options its major weakness is that your force is basically at half strength because you can't have an early push with siege AND stim/shields thus early pressure that side steps 1 specific unit type (i.e. drop the main or use air to make tanks useless or cloak to force scans and hurt the econ) is the best way to deal with this type of build

@rkid1296 It was mor of a blind counter than skill. Hero recognized what build Puma was probably doing, chose a build that crushes it, and came out ahead. Had Puma not been going for a 1-1-1 and gone fast ghosts or something, Puma would have won by a huge margin.

@owensamrob i use logic, and it's logical to me that anything protoss does doesn't require as much micro / macro as what's needed to counter it. watching grandmaster games, protoss wins a lot more nowadays and it's evident the protoss gms don't have as much skill.

If your referring to dreamhack then yes hero won, not because of protoss op but because he played the final game out perfectly and puma overcommitted to attacking his 3rd, letting toss get a slight lead, which made a massive difference. All games could have gone either way and it was 4 - 3 so tis leads me to believe that the game is balanced.

@zarrnet Actually, it takes only a small unit combo to take down toss. Like early marine marauder, whereas toss needs a caster to hold terran off. Protoss wins a lot more nowadays? Winrate is based on a player's skill whether its worldwide or not, not about balance. Protoss gm's don't have as much skill? How do they become a grandmaster then? If Protoss was imbalanced there would be no such thing as a bronze toss.
