TheMetallkylling its records and time coded records that jump in very loud venues. Unless he is using very very old cd decks with no anti skip then yes they will jump your right. But cdjMKs dont jump unless there broken. One of mine fell of a DJ box as a result of very loud vibrations of a funktion one dance rig. And it did not skip. unless you have a very scratched cd even then it will still play. CDJs are solid :)

Actually, I don't think he even falls in the DJ category, Russell Peters can explain that in more detail. He hates this guy, calls him a phony.

It's basically beatmatching and a bit of pretentiousness with track selection (or if you're a techno dj, then you might be pretentious with more than 2 decks). What counts and will always count is production and entertainment, though I have to say Tiesto ain't good at production anyways (though majority of producers ain't good at it either, which includes David Guetta, Armin and Deadmau5).

Anyone can stand in front of some turntables and play music back-to-back, it doesn't require much skill at all.
