This one took a while , as i joined a fan society over in the states . I never got my emails answered , So i stuck it up the forum , and said " well may be we have something else besides THE CUP you guys havent got , and dont know. The day after , I got an email from the president of the club , with a few contacts , as I had some questions of the funsction , and heating problems. Now the fan works for a good 2 hours on METHO , and just runs , and has that smell of a steam engine.
Hi Cyonk, It is quiter , as at that stage , it the knock has been taken out , with over size shaft, where it was oval, dont forget 1914 , it runs like a swiss watch , just didnt update tou tube .....Thanks for looking , and comments...Pete
Hi Kiosk , Thanks for looking. You just simply wind the wick down , the same principle as a kero lamp. The more speed , you increase the wick for larger flame, you must also not have any soot , as this will deposit through out your room. There s a few other videos , search '' what the butler saw '' an old coin arcade machine '' , '' Aeolian gramophone '' and also '' rexonola gramophone '' it is under possie for memory , I am a collector restorer Cheers Pete Australia , Adelaide

Wow, this is really sweet.
Though it is considered 'old' technology, I reckon these would be popular if they were to make a comeback.
