To no longer lay claim to the north it will only remain part of the United Kingdom as long as the people vote for it. Come on bob, your a man of the world I assume, surely you must know Liverpool is a bit different to the rest of England? It does seem a bit wierd having people from Liverpool into all this stuff, but it's up to them I suppose.
As for the dog/stable comment, yes I am born in England, are you trying to say all English people with Irish heritage should go home? There wouldn't be many people left in Liverpool if that was the case, even your accent sounds more Irish than English.

Most Scousers greatgrandparents came over to England from Ireland. England gave us a home and we stayed. The Loyalist people of Liverpool have embraced England as our home. We love England and Britain in a way most other people don't. We feel 100% English and British. We would not spit in the face of england/Britain by supporting another country or by clinging to some long forgotten Irish Roots. We feel hatred towards Irish republicans/IRA murderers. Britain is our home. Love it or Leave it.
