  • How the fuck are there 419 dislikes???? I was born in 91 and I love all of these songs

  • Love Bob Dylan

  • Damn this is definatly a Soc list... there are 419 Greasers among us who would like some KING.

  • @09wcgw outsiders. nice.

  • where is Janis????

  • The Byrds are the best. I wish bands today would play like they did.

  • I was born in the wrong generation....

  • Why couldn't I have been born in the 60s...

  • This "30 best rock songs of the 60's" needs at least 30 of those Bob Dylan Songs..

  • Beatles, Doors, Hendrix - THE BEST

  • what about the KING OF ROCK & ROLL??

  • Any top songs list without "They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!" is taking itself too damn seriously.

  • What about Fortunate Son from Creedence Clearwater Revival, All along the watchtower from Jimi Hendrix, For what it's worth from Buffalo springfield, The End from The doors???

  • grew up on this stuff

  • I would not call some of the 'rock' songs. And what about The Move?

  • 'Hey Jude' should've been BA Day In The Life'. 'Hey Jude' is way overrated.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=2IPOMDfTK3Y

  • No Black Sabbath, No Pink Floyd, Forgot Stairway to heaven (one of the most influential rock songs in history) 1/3 of it was beatles.

  • @SmashingPumpkinsTV LOL. Just READ the title- "Best songs of 60-s"!! Black Sabbath wrote their 1-st album in 1970, stairway ti heaven was written in 1970-71, Pink Floyd became one of the most important groups in 70-s too. WTF r u talkin about???

  • satisfaction would have been at number two the sound track of the 60s was without doubt "She loves you yea yea yea" the one and only beatles. thanks for posting i enjoyed it all.

  • how is Tears for Fears not in this?

  • @TimmyTheTumor YOOOOHOOO! This is the top 30 of the 60''s!

  • I only like 1/2 of these songs.

  • I think A Day In The Life by The Beatles Should have been on here

  • i meant era of music :P

  • i thought riders on the storm was the song that defined that generation and it wasnt in there?

  • @buttermeltingvoids It's a shame

  • @buttermeltingvoids But it came out in 1971

  • @EnebakkMat i knew right

  • Sympathy for the devil all the way! That should been number 2 and purple haze shoulda been number 1. On a side note, rock was so unlovely back ten. I'm an 80s man to be honest. 80s and screamo. O_o

  • Sound of Silence and Yesterday are my favourites... :) I like calm music but the 60's had the best songs... Ahh I was born in the wrong generation...

  • This is the kind of music should still be around today. These legendary artists are the best of the best and always will be! I wish that i could visit the 1960's for a day.

Compare this to what we have now. Justin beiber...a joke!

Kanye west lil wayne (__otherrapartists__)... Just not as good

    Lady gaga...just bleh

60s music just doesnt get enough respect as it should

    Like if you agree!

  • Beatles all the way!!!! FTW

  • @holyalluponya HELL YEAH!!!!!! They are the best "Yesterday" ohhhhh i love that song though Something and All you need is love are the best

  • the doors hell yahyy

  • 20 is pop

  • where 's sly and everyday people ?

  • Elvis

  • Wow The Beatles were in there 4 times they must of been really good lol and number 1 should of been like around in the 20s not number 1!

  • his sucks

  • Wish I could time travel to the 60's.

  • Books on Marijuana Smuggling 1960s

  • my number one is elvis :)

  • damn ... the beatles in the 60's sounds A LOT like kasabian nowadays

  • #1 is bullshit

  • No Paint it Black? Had to be my favorite.

  • Y janis joplin?

  • i love the first song its amazing, beach boys i like them to, bob dylans song was amazing.when i listen to jimi hendrix purple haze just makes me wish he was still alive R.i.P JIMI HENDRIX!! the rolling stones owned them all though!! :D

  • Mc jagger still looks the same.

  • ' The house of the rising sun ' is reported to exist since the middle of 1800 and we did not know who is the author, so here's a beautiful song and not expensive to be covered, as there is no copyright to be payed !! ;-)

  • Where's Janis Joplin?

  • where's Janis Joplin?

  • No CCR?? but you have The Animals?

  • Fuck you Rolling Stones. You Suck Balls. The Beatles were better, so they should have had #1

  • @TheEndOfMac2009 The Beatles are way better, i agree with you. But we're talking about songs, not bands.

  • Ringo Invented The Headbanging!! 6:08 XD

  • top 30 best songs is the only true thing about this video cause all these songs are the best.

why put them in a list?

  • The Beatles take the most spots, but there is no point in not putting them in 1 too. They are afterall the best selling, most populare and influenctial band of all time.

  • the beatles!!!!! <3

  • this music makes me wan to sleep that's how stupid the 60s were. people cant you see that the 21st century has the best music

  • @sirJELLB You gotta be f***ing kiding me right

  • @legoadict525 i ain't kidding u

  • @sirJELLB Then you can go crawl in a f***ing ditch and not come out, I think we would all be happy then

  • Take a trip back to the 60s with these cats from L.A. called "Nutty."

    search

    cinnamon doll

you gotta see what they do with Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl

  • Hell Yeah The Doors.-3.

  • becah boys i get around is way worse then hosue of the rising sun...

  • Personally I think California Dreaming should be number one :)

  • The song in 28th place was my first wrestling theme lol

  • its not possible to make a top 30 of the '60 songs, they are all so great that there can't be a list of "the best"

  • I was going to favorite this until I realizded there was no Pink Floyd, haha.

  • @DanikaJadeee pink floyd isn't 60's

  • @drumguy1022 Yes they are. Clearly you haven't heard much of the early Pink Floyd.

  • @DanikaJadeee

    theres also no CCR...

  • @DanikaJadeee

Probably because Floyd are more well known for their work in the 70's.. All the same, they should just be on every video.

  • @BC13baha I guess, but still I love the Piper at the gates of dawn, and that was 60's, haha. I love every Floyd album.

  • This top is a shame for the Beatles, they should've at least 10 song in this top 30!

  • @MrJakeMusik i agree!!!!!!!

  • Where is Janis Joplin? :)

  • donde coño esta CCR?

  • I liked this. There was soooo much great music back then, it's hard to make a list. I did enjoy watching it !! If I may just one criticism, some of the clips are too short. But overall, a joy to watch.

  • Some of these songs are not that bad

  • THE BEATLES REVOLUTIONIZED ROCK MUSIC!!!!

  • i dont agree with number one

  • oh well zep shoulda been in a 70s list they weren't much of a sixties band

  • Bull shit the 60's would have been shit without the Beatles and The Doors + Led Zeppelin. Right!

  • Simon and garfunkel, rolling stones, the Beatles, the animals, beach boys, jimi Hendrix, the doors, led Zeppelin, ftw! I love the beatles and you have tons of dem!

  • Pause 7:58

  • I dont agree with most

  • I'd have to put Led Zep's Whole Lotta Love in the top 2 rock songs of the 60's. That song was truly radically different from anything we had ever heard (I can still remember friends back then being stunned and enthralled by it), and it along with the rest of Zep II revolutionized rock music. In other words, goodbye Beatles '60's and hello Zeppelin '70's.

  • Hi everyone music has always been my passion, I give my heart to every song and each one has meaning. I am now making my own music and it helps me, if you can check out my videos and channel and drop a comment I would appreciate it, to know someone enjoyed my music would be great!

  • sunshine of your love should have been in the top 5 :P

  • Jimi is not number 1???

  • Wish the audio and video weren't so far out of sync. Looks like an old Godzilla movie.

  • Una pálida sombra debe de estar en primer lugar, buen video gracias.

  • One is Kim Wilde song!

  • is this an opinion?

  • That feeling like your heart's being squeezed up inside you, every next song because THEY ARE ALL MY FAVOURITE. And I'm 17 ;)

  • i love how the Beatles are in this but i think they should be the top ones and the most awesome person in this video is the guy in the middle at 6:00 :D

  • i grew up listening to the song @ 1:34 since i would hear it 24/7 on the radio

  • 7:54 Luke Skywalker!!!

  • number one : i can't get no dadada.... AMAZING

  • you picked Simon and Garhomo over CCR....shame on you sir.

  • nice

  • Wow. Im kinda surprised that fortunate son by CCR isnt in here

  • you would need balls

  • @COROBE5 you'd need to stfu

  • @StMindaugas HOW MATURE YOU MORON

  • number 1 sucks

  • 30 is not rock nor 29

  • The top 30 hits of the 60s are missing

  • The decades (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's) are not representive of the trends of different eras, and don't easily fit into 10 years, so consider the following....

    !955 to 1963 - Rock and Roll

1964 to 68 - Blues and Pop Rock

1969 to 1975 - Hard, Prog, Art Rock

!976 to 1992 - Corperate and Punk Rock, and Metal

  • It's better, I think, to start the 60's at 1964 with the British Invasion. To lump those oldies with 60's "new attitude" rock is too broad

  • how can " yesterday ' be a rock song?

  • @jackrussellforsale Besause of the awesome legendary BEATLES !

  • lol ringo starr @ 6:00

  • I'm not senator's son, I'm also not a fortunate one and I don't see her CCR DAMMIT!

  • number 1. eric forman

  • Beatles own. They are Fu Ken awesome.

  • I agree with number 1. But whre the hell is CCR ?

  • @LSDJanis it's more of a hippie list and CCR is more of a pro-war music ;D

  • @StMindaugas CCR is not war music..hello, what about "fortunate son" ??? That song talks about the status quo and Nationalism not always being the way! How is that pro-war?

  • @StMindaugas WHAT AN IDIOT!

  • @COROBE5 suck my balls americunt

  • @StMindaugas you would need balls!

  • @LSDJanis CCR, one of the best of the 60's indeed!

  • @LSDJanis creedence clear water.

  • @LSDJanis mmm...N°1 is overrated, CCR should have been there.

  • @LSDJanis CCR was easily the greatest of the era in my opinion. when ya think of 60's you think of vietnam, when you think of vietnam, who else to be playing the music of that day than CCR.

  • amazing how music has evolved!

  • What? No CCR?

  • the mamas and the papas arent rock!!!

  • I luv it all

  • so sixties

  • Aretha Franklin, James Brown , Supremes I don't consider rock, but I will say there is a big difference from early 60s to mid 60s to late 60s.No Yardbirds in this mix either Page, Clapton, Beck, all starting out in the same band as young kids. There influence in music was missed in this list

  • Comment removed

  • Thought Paint it Black was the Stones greatest song and it did not get mentioned

  • @TheOldpoop Jumpin' Jack Flash is the greatest song of all time.

  • The Yardbirds???

    Haha and Led Zeppelin <3

  • i wanne live in the 60´s

  • Velvet underground? Pink Floyd?

  • loved the list, I would only trade one of the songs for a Pink Floyd Syd Barret era like Arnold Layne, bike or any other from the piper at the gates of dawn xD

  • haha.. nakaka time warp!! galing..!

  • california dreaming should be number 1

  • We had the best music in the 60"s. Thanks for the memories. Enjoyed it si much.

  • @faithmairee I was a teenager in the 60s. If we are all honest, the majority of the "pop" music was really bad. The 60s will be remembered mainly for the " Superbands" that sprung up from that era, the same bands that the youth of today revere & look up to. Not Freddy & the dreamers, Dave Clark 5, Hermans Hermits Etc, terribly embarrassing when you think about it eh? Otherwise a great era for all the right reasons. Thank God for Floyd, Cream, original Fleetwood Mac, Clapton, ?

  • @mr1168726 I don't agree that their music was embarrassing and the bands you mentioned aren't even at the top of my list for the best of that era. Thank God, I say, for Eric Burden and the Animals, The Byrds, Bob Dylan and a whole lotta others (too many to mention here) that made the music scene a time I will never forget.. (And btw I was a teenager then, too.)

  • @faithmairee I'm afraid that you have fallen into the old trap ie. hype. Remember- Nostalgia's not what it used to be. The Byrds and Dylan cant be put into the same category as the ordinary run of the mill music that dominated most of the 60s charts. The Animals, have you heard of them since? If none of the bands I mentioned are'nt in your list, then, really you might have been around in the 60s, but you were'nt there.

  • @faithmairee Just realised, your profile say's you are 58yrs old. This means that you were only 9yrs old when the 60s scene took off ( 62), and 17 when it was over. I dont really think you are really qualified to comment properly because you were still a young kid. Like the kids of every generation, you were influenced by the charts, not the real music that has set this era apart from all others. Take care eh?

  • @mr1168726 I was practically a teen and the artists I was referring to were the Dave Clark Five, Herman's Hermits that you mentioned not Fleetwood Mac and Clapton. I fell into no trap at all,. My comments are based solely on my personal taste in music at the time. You're goofy.

  • how i wish the 60' came back !!!

  • some of your choices suck

  • Yesterday and light my fire need to be higher :)

  • yesterday needs to be higher

  • I found my uncle's class of 1965 yearbook at my grandparents house, it makes me wish I was in the 60s right now.

  • All you dicks stop complaining about why this or that song wasn't on the list..it's impossible to but a ton of songs in here..these are good tunes no matter what so shut the fuck up and stop acting like little bitches!

  • ``13 DOORS? HA NUMBER 1 LIGHT MY FIRE BY A HUGE MARGIN

  • The Doors and the Beatles = Winner

  • TOO MANY BEATLES NOT ENOUGH PAUL SIMON!!!

  • Where is twist and shout?! (the Beatles)

  • @vaultboygilbert frankly there was already quite a bit of beatles in there.. alot of good artist during that time, share the top list :P

  • sorry, there was only one .. The Shadows ... they were popular in the U.K. but NOT in the U.S.

  • nice taste in music . but what were those two you slipped in their early on? never heard of them, and probably most who lived in the 60s have never heard of them either .. hmm, must be your favorites, which is a different list all together

  • @carlafierro7 What? Whiter Shade of Pale and Sound of Silence are pretty famous songs bro.

  • oh yeah at least one song from the doors R.I.P Jimmy i miss you

  • Good top 30 but ... WHERE IS 'WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS' ?

  • @ThePtitbreton35 It was number 31????

  • Light my fire! <3333333333 ♥ ♥ ♥

  • I don't understand what people saw and still see in Jimmy Hendrix. I think his music sucks and has no rhythm. So what if he could play the guitar with his left hand.

  • Needs more Hendrix

  • wow it was 51years ago it's like 50 years ago

  • Definitivamente, não é uma boa lista pela ordem. Mas tem ótimas músicas.

  • the doors jimi hendrix the animals LED ZEPPEILIN FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!
