I was at this gig, Sept 1983. I think it was the Crossing The Fall tour. Brings back some great memories.

I was there! My first proper gig and what a night. I remember the backdrop and how well it worked. They were brilliant.

My cousin went to this gig. He was in the upper tier smack bang in the middle of the front row and took about 50 photos which I used to have but unfortunatley have lost ! He saw them support The Jam at wembley and told me how good they were, thats how I got into Big Country. Happy memories. I have more Hammersmith Odeon footage which I will post soon !

He must have been with me and steve rowe and mick simmonds then,as the 3 of us were front row slap in the middle of the upper tier. We led the chanting on 'Chance' and had the spotlight put on us by the stage crew we were that loud, best of all got a 'cheers lads' from stewart. For those of you who missed this band, i could only equate it to my feeling on missing the Beatles - totally gutted. Stewart R.I.P. look forward to a concert in the Big Sky one day - thanks for the memories.
