i dropped a commercial lawnmower deck on my thumb today at about 10 am and i tryed this alittte bit ago at 8 pm. the needle didnt hurt at all and it felt better right after i poked it, but it still hurts from being smashed.

I used a safety pin and heated it until it was red and then poke a few holes in my nail and it did the trick. I still used rubbing alcohol on the safety pin and the nail to sterilize it.

nope it didnt... draining the blood can actually save the toe nail from dropping off (if you let the toe nail drop off, the new nail that grows might become curly and ugly!).

after i drained it, the toe nail didn't drop off.

it just continued to grow out and i was finally able to clip the hole when the toe nail was long enough :D

it really does not hurt at all. i just did it today..i used a hot needle to start it off then used a handdrill to finish it. the only painful part was cleaning the hole after.

Just did it. Used a heated paperclip to burn down almost to the nail bed. It got hot, so finished off by gently thumbscrewing a clean thumbtack to pierce the rest of the way through and release the blood. Overall, not immensely painful. The blood underneath forms a layer which helps to insure that you don't penetrate too deeply. WebMD lists this as a safe procedure if the pressure is causing too much pain. It's likely you will lose the nail regardless. Just do it carefully, and keep it clean.

I learned that in first aid and saftey. Heat a needle up with a lighter, it just melts through the nail.

for all u dumb fucks it is called runners toe. GYMREGULAR he did NOT drop anything on his toe. He clearly states that in the about video section. My boyfriend plays basketball and it happens when ur running fast and u have to stop real quick. what he did was perfectly fine he was just letting out the blood from under his toe to relieve the pressure building up underneath, which happens to be really painful if u dont.
