I believe Hosono composed the YMO version of Firecracker, so I'm not surprised.

If they are Japanese,and performing in Japan,why are they singing in ENGLISH?

English is probably the most spoken language on this globe. Many things for example do not have a japanese straight translation. But in this case here i know that mr peter barakan did most (if not all) of ymo's lyric translations (ok & chris mosdell lol).

Singing in english is also a thumbs up to fans outside of japan. Similar to akiko yano, where the album 'from japan to japan' was mostly aimed at the english speaking community. Personally i think the japanese language is as much lovely to listen to as it is dynamic. I love the language & if all songs were in there native tongue, it wouldnt bother me :)

Complete with tartan gear. Have a scan from a local newspaper where my sister tried to get to the boat the guys were on. On the cover, with an almighty hicky on her neck. Oh dear, how times have changed. She even claimed for yrs she had eric faulkners phone number and i believed her :/

Years ago i actually scanned a ymo cd i had because the 'ymo' logo on there shirts was the same as the cd. I just printed lots of the logo onto t-shirt transfer paper and made my own. Looked pretty authentic too heh. There is a special edition cd and shirt (the same) included. Pricey though (£150 on ebay?????) Called 'UCYMO Premium - Ultimate Collection'

Yeah, I've seen that item you're talking about, really expensive. And I just found one on ebay packaged with the DRESS SHIRT! too expensive though haha. So they released this UCYMO with the dress shirt as a limited pressing or what?
