@KayKay13101 Yeah, CO is probably one of my favorite states. This, and D.C.
The weather here tho, is so random. Like, recently, in the NE it was 70's for like 3 days. Then it rained for a day, The next day it snowed. Then it was warm and super windy.. But i love it
Ugh.. I had an incident like that awhile back. I was headed to a fair a few miles from where I live and a sudden severe storm hit. There was one point where a REALLY big bright lightning bolt struck not too far from where I was on the road. It scared the crap outta me. Not long after, I found a telephone pole in the middle of the street and quarter size hail.
when i use to live in florida lightning struck our post or mail box thingy the thunder was soo loud. unfortunatly i had to move back to England orelse my family would have got the green card last year :p
@punchaloo tell me bout it O.o.... used to live across from my junior high school ... lightning hit one of the playthingies there .... thunder was so loud that the windows were shaking O.o
@han777777 I have hearing aids and once when we were changing the aluminum colored shades of our house and we piled all of the old shades next to our kitchen porch. So one night I walk towards the glass door looking at the pile and BOOM! lightning bolt strikes it and wipes out my hearing aids!
Imagine if there were a way to harness all that energy.

@Mufaso1000 How much energy does that has?
mickey3348 7 months ago
@mickey3348 I've no idea, though I have heard that a single lightning bolt has enough energy to run a 60 Watt bulb 24 hours a day for a year.

Nice capture. Its hard to pinpoint where it struck. It appears to be on the horizon but being that it was so bright it was probably very close.
