How strong IS the violence in the American version? In the Japanese version I know it wasn't that bad, but if I get the game I don't want my parents to walk in and say "OMG! WUT!"

Unless your parents can withstand people getting cut in half, bodies blown apart, limbs being chopped off and decapitations then I'd say go ahead and buy it. It's not exactly realistic violence...it's a bit over the top. If they can handle Kill Bill...they can handle this I'm sure.

I got the game yesterday-STRONG LANUGUAGE & very VERY BLOODY!!!! It is a must Have. My mom got on me bout tha excessive cusin. There is also a stripper in the game

The lead character for this game (Travis Touchdown I think) kinda reminds me of Ian Watkins from Lostprophets, even the hair looks like he doo Ian had in town called (spelling really bad here lol) Hypocrisy. Tho I'm sure Ian never got an american accent or became an assasin lol

Yes it is made by Suda 51 who also made Killer 7, Contact, Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked, Michigan, Flower Sun & Rain, Blood+ and Fatal Frame 4 (in development now).

I know haha. I'm excited. It's definitely the scariest survival horror game out there. I wish I kept the 3rd one. Sold it back to Gamestop after beating it. Bad mistake.
