This fantastically well done, as someone just starting to make films it's great to see the kind of thing you can make with enough talent and effort. Congratulations on a really well done short.
Really well done! Surprising seeing as most people who post comments on other videos to watch their own usually have shitty videos. This is was awesome. Nice cinematography and editing. The flashbacks really helped tie things together. Keep on doing what your doing.
Jeez, one violent scary shortfilm o.o Not saying you did badly... I'm saying you did a GREAT job at making it twisted! I'm guessing his actions were because of what his father did?
This was excellent - the direction and cinematography remains superb, and the trio of actors each put in an excellent performance. The lead actor played a blinder - a touch of the young Tobey Maguire and Elijah Wood to him! Support actor played his role with exactly the right amont of menace, and perhaps ironically, the actress particularly shone in the end-credit "flashback/birthday" scenes, playing them very naturally. I can't fault this one. Whoever "disliked" this is an idiotic jealous TVAT!
A friend showed me this, I don't know most who were involved but coming from someone who's been involved in some short films and some proffesional tv work this is absolutely amazing.
Be very, very proud, and whatever it was for, for film festivals or a university degree mark, I hope you get the highest results. :D
What a great piece of work! This is the Connor Jenkins that I want to see, he really stepped up to this role. Very impressed with how this has been put together, crew should feel content knowing they have made a winner. JC
Wow, I've been waiting for this ever since it was mentioned and it didn't disappoint! It's hard to believe this isn't professionally made as such. Amazing work! A real thriller, and that's not something that comes around often.
how come u only have 35 thousand views... cause last time i checked this was a whole lot better than justin biebers baby :D

For an amateur filmmaker, how do you achieve such brilliant lighting and shadows? The camera doesn't get grainy in dark scenes at all! Please tell.
TheVoice0fFate 5 months ago
@TheVoice0fFate That was just the quality of his camera. He probably graded his footage as well, and increased contrast and darkness.
