I love finding SOM on YouTube and this was a great teaching. Thank you. I'd like to affirm that a bigger YouTube SOM channel is created with many voices, many talks by the numerous, gifted ministers of this teaching. My favorite is, of course, Rev. Bonnie Rowsell. She ministered in the Glendale church & lives in Beverly Hills. She is not up on the computer age, but many, many folks would be blessed by her powerful, delightful, interesting teachings spanning all religions, science, art, etc.

@0:44 How exactly does "the mind of God manifest itself" ? Because if that actually happened there wouldn't be 470 religions today.

The reason we have only ONE theory of how life diversified into millions of species is that Evolution actually DOES manifest and has irrefutable evidence. God doesn't ever appear so different religions sprout up all the time, lost in a vacuum of manifestation.

There are 22 "major" gods that begin with the letter "A" alone for example.

Hi, I´m very into New Thought, but I have a doubt here... I read about Emmet Fox for instance, that is really into Jesus teachs and I notice that no much people talks about Jesus in New Thought, specially about the baptism under water... what about that??

I can explain more if placed into a context, I write about Economcs and am working on a natural rights document which encompasses many connected and related aspects to how measures in perception in judgment affect the mindseye of perception, its not that difficult because this relates to the phrase self evident in the declaration of independence which also ties to what in INalienable Rights" so its the lack in that definition that we are missing in society.. @Peiffer :: Unity church is more oriented to Jesus than is Religious Science. New thought sees Jesus as a teacher, not a savior. New thought does not accept the concept of original sin. What do you think baptism will do for you? I always liked Emmet Fox.

Dr. Walker, I admire your boldness in presenting Religious Science,  I happen to disagree with you. I believe by faith, that Jesus said as recorded in John 14.:6 "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes unto the Father but through me." You cost the enternal life of a friend of mine. You should perhaps read the sermon on the Mount where it says jesus opened his mouth and began to teach, what he was teaching was the affects to self measure, Matthew VII Judge and be Judged for what measure ye judge it will be measured to you again, this is a science in the mechanics of perception and its indisputible that this is the nature to what is being taught in the new testament, most of the story likely fabricated because the bible was written circ 70 AD

The Bible fabricated? If you undermine the authroity and the writers of the Word of God you reveal what Religious Science is all about. RS is a man created philosophy from Ernest Holmes to make man kind unaccountable for their sin. Your god and the God of the Bible are two different entities. You will suffer 'judgment' for unbelief. Just as your practictioner friend of mine ill advisably followed RS unto her death. You need to read John 14:6. What saith you?

Yes because there is no such thing as reality and no one was able to follow that closely a man with less than 120 followers at the time he left in a cloud, common man are we crazy< the point being that a man god does not exist its not about god or death its about life and what we do with it, so you see religious ideology is redundent; Ideals are expressions of maybe's, science of physics is nature and common law so it doesnt matter what god is life is simply a miracle squandered by humanity

Since the Creator (God) is all powerful and everywhere present, how can there be more than one? Sorry but may I suggest you try listening a bit deeper. ALL paths lead to GOD not just one or another. So trying to get to GOD via intellectualism CAN work..maybe not for all but it still exists as a possibility and all possibilities eventually manifest in form. That's the fun of life. GOD gets to express as all possibilities simultaneously even through intellectual searching..

In order to proliferate your intellectual dogma you exclude Biblical truth. That's why your founder Dr. Holmes states that Religious Science adheres to no special books or teachings. Your following of Religious Science is fringe religion. What is, "Biblical truth"? What is, "fringe religion"? Do you interpret the John verse in the manner you do because someone or something told you this is how it is to be interpreted? By the Way,the original word used was and is "by Me" and NOT "through me". There is a great distinction in the two. You change one word of it...you change the entire message or revelation or teaching. Scriptue cannot be broken. Why,then,do so many words change in your bibles?

Thats extremely true, I interpret scripture however, there is one theme which is consistent and that is self measure in perception in judgment which is what consumes the mind blocking the path. The key to freedom is an unpresuming mind of judgment....also I am writing what is called Egonomics which explains evolution in economics which helps establish the nature of our natural rights and also establishes the right in preservation of resources, we are going anywhere so we need to conserve.
