  • 3" disk?

  • for it looking cool it does same as our ugly nes but gotta say itn does look real cool almost looks like it was made in 90s

  • Remember when Nintendo tried this again with a Nintendo 64 add-on?

  • @FlamingBat I never did get to play the F Zero track creator :(

  • @StephenAlexWalker That's something Nintendo should have added to the Virtual Console port. They probably would have if they weren't more interested in actually stripping their ports of things like virtual rumble pak and controller pak compatibility.

  • I wonder if it could run MS-Windows 1.0 hmm....

  • Does it work with american power plugs?

  • Now I get it, the disc system gives you the advantage of having to switch sides and having to sit through load times! It's funny that all this time I thought it did something useful.

  • cheaper. thats was the advantage.

  • molaaaaaaaa

  • que juegazo es l aversion japonesa que viene con la musica de los heroes no? XD

  • So it was dragon ball i had dragon power

  • i like that coller of the twin the best

  • Is this one of those "Multi-console" machines, or was it an official one?

  • It's an authorized Nintendo product made by Sharp.

    And I want it!

  • @JRock424 i heard that the twin famicom ran on batteries even though it did not need them. other than that, this looks cool, i wish i was in japan so i can get this. i may never get to go to japan, but a guy has got to dream ,right? p.s. there was a golden mega man 4 cardtrige that was being sold, i think its worth $700 U.S.

  • this was an official console

  • It's actually only plays one console but it also plays the disc add on so it is official... and rare.

  • That is the first time I've seen a Famicom and Disk System all-in-one. I like the style of it.

Was it an official product, or is the famicom something like an "on a chip" thing?

Just wondering since I have a Power Player 128 (in the shape of a dreamcast controller) that has a 60-pin expansion port/slot that looks like it would play Famicom games.

  • its official

  • Dam I didn't no Dragon Ball was out that long ago that is crazy Japanese are ahead of time for real

  • Does the Twin Famicom play international NES games?

  • It should, keep in mind this is a complete rip off, developed by "Sharp" though someone totally legal, at the time...

  • it isn't a rip off. It was licensed by nintendo.

  • Only with an adapter will it play westernized NTSC games

  • when loading on that type of system it should say famicom not Nintendo because the sharp famicom twin was subcontracted out to sharp so i wonder if he or who he bought it from replace the disk drive portion with an actual nintendo disk drive from the original if thats even possible. just something little i noticed.

  • its possible that it may have been modified, because the FDS was notorious for failing drive belts. So either brico or the seller he bought it from may have replaced the disk drive with a OEM nintendo drive that was working.

  • oi lad! i have the same twin except mine is black!

  • I want that Twin Famicom and the Dragonball game.

  • basically the nes cartridge originally was the floppy you see, it can be put in one either side, and the snes was just a jap cart design, the system plays both hence the name "Twin"

  • Where can I get a famicom.

  • idk i cant find a super famicom

  • You don't need to find a Super Famicom, an SNES will play all the Japanese games, just clip the tabs inside the cartridge slot with pliers.

  • really? coolbeans

  • what tabs?

  • Inside the slot that cartridges go into, next to the pin connector inside the SNES system.

  • Those two little plastic thingies?

  • Yes. :)

  • thanks dude

  • ebay

  • you have bad taste in music douchbag

  • cool this must be the only system to utilise the floppy disc.

  • What Its This Cool Music??

  • i got a twin famicom but its black/green. Which one is rarer?

  • your black/green one is

  • It looks pretty cool..I must get one !

  • would a famicom work on a uk (pal) tv?

  • esa cancion se llama virus de hereos del silentio.

  • Sorry to bother, can you tell me wich tv/monitor are you using? It looks really good...

    Thanx!

  • how much was it and where can i get one?

  • Are those Region free?

  • Yes and No.

There is no Region Code, but the Pins of the Carts are other.

But there is an Adapter with you can Play NES Games on an Famicom.

  • Can you plug the Famicom into an American electrical outlet?

  • Yes, but with an little Tool.

The TwinFC runs on 100V but (I think, i´m from Germany) the US Electrical runs on 120V.

You will maybe need an Stepdown Converter.

  • Oh, because I'm in the U.S.

Would a Famicom work in an American outlet anyone?

  • An AV Modified Famicom, or an Twin Famicom Yes.

  • La cancion q estas esuchando esta en español??

  • Man I'd love to have that Famicom one day! Does it have A/V?

  • Yes, it has AV output.

  • cool stuff man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
