SCREW USA I WANNA GO TO JAPAN!!! there are nice people no racesim everybody lives and smiles with no issue and also you can learn more with a strong mind and open minded teachers
looking at the content of the entrance exam of mathematics of this university plus the language problem, it looks almost impossible for foreign students to enter. But the university of tokyo is going to expand the capacity of foreign students that could learn there by passing a exam more suitable for students all over the world. theyre even going to open the entrance ceremony after summer unlike other schools in japan in about 5 years.
want to know something really special that the professors at the university of tokyo wont teach you and ASIO (aka the mickey mouse club) and the australian government dont want anyone to know.......go to you-tube site "glyn davis vice chancellor melbourne (part 1)" and press "see all" to find my 3 comments.
@mohammed7967853 Look... I see that you're Muslim from your name... So am I... No one cares if Hong Kong university is better... I'm rich and I can study in Cambridge if I want... But most foreign students choose Japan because they actually want it... What did you gain from insulting the university? Also, you can't think about universities as overall... Different departments, different quality. ALSO, it's certain that this university is too much for you, since you have no idea about how to talk.
University of Tokyo was overtaken by University of HongKong to lose the best
educational institution in Asia in 2010.If you have enough money like £50.000
for annual including school fee and accomodation fee just get your self provided education in United Kingdom. There are lot of better college and university in Britain such as University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University College of London
London Imperial College , and Kings College of London.
@FearThisChannel Dude! I'm telling you! You can do it. If you're currently a college student, or a HS student, just keep your GPA up, and I'd highly recomend learning the language, considering the entrance exam you'll have to take probably won't be in English. I'm telling you this because I'm trying to get in as well. The only thing that is stopping me is the entrance exam, and I'm going to take that this coming spring. so good luck to the both of us! :)
i want to study there.. i am british and still live in uk.. i wanted to be a manga artist ever since i was little.. grow up with japanese stuff, learning japanese and want to maybe live there. but study 100%.
a lot of people love my manga art so i want to be teached by the japanese people that give me this wonderful gift of enjoying, loving, breathing in art of manga.
I dont know why, but it seems like going to this school would be a privilege. It feels like if i attended this school i would feel like i accomplished something major, and honestly I've never even considered college till looking at this school. Seems like it would be hard work, but also a wonderful experience.
@lolipopendoh93 can you not talk to people like, not to be mean but you are acting very disrespectful, people have dreams to go to tokyo university for reasons, if i werent planing on going there for a reason i wouldnt be waisting for years of my life studing it and im a freshmanin highschool! so what if you go to tokyo u. its my dream and no matter what you say to me you arent changing my mind!
if you really want to get in you better get off youtube because if you even study every second until your admission you might not get in. so you better get rid of that attitude
can someone help me figure out how to get into tokyo university. im a freshman, but im already planning it, but i dont know what to do about the entrance exam,i want to major in computer enginnieering, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME
if you are going to move to japan, learn the language, dont even think of speaking english at school. what a disgrace, TODAI is my school I am graduating from there in two years, It is my sophmore year
@LolipopendOh93 HOW DO YOU GET INTO THIS SCHOOL, THIS IS MY DREAM SCHOOL AND I PLAN TO STUDY IN ROBOTICS WHEN I GET THERE ANY ADVUCE WOULD HELP PLEASE!!! TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT THE ENTRANCE EXAM OR SOME HELPFUL TIPS :)
@luvouranhigh if you are serious about that, you need to master japanese language first, because most lectures and exams will be given in japanese. if you plan to take the entrance exam as the japanese students do, you need to study well above the american standard. entrance exams of japanese universities are much more difficult than american SAT, which is easier than japanese high school entrance exams.
@luvouranhigh the second option is to take the screening test for foreign students (an interview and short essays). visit the website of university of tokyo for details
@luvouranhigh 学ぶ日本語。わかりますか?My problem with people like you is that you are only thinking about going to Japan because of the Anime and Jpop. Don't even bother applying to Todai or anyother Japanese-based university. You might just be able to get in to a Gaijin School. But There is more to Japan then just anime and jpop. You MUST speak JAPANESE. You MUST live a Japanese lifestyle. You MUST act JAPANESE.
@LolipopendOh93 Just out of curiousity, what's a Gaijin school? I'm also very interested in this school + other international schools in Japan. I love Japanese culture, and I think attending an international school would be a very rewarding experience. I'm just worried about the standards. Would you say international universities in Japan are difficult to get in to? I'm a Canadian student turning gr. 12 if that helps you give me a better answer. ^^ "
@LzJPage Actually, we do things quite differently in the US. In graduate programs, between 1/5 and 1/2 of the students are foreigners. These are usually divided into those who can speak well enough to TA and those who can't. A fairly large portion are in the second category, but are selected for their abilities in their field. I think this is true of both private schools and large state universities.
Acceptance of significant numbers of international students gives you access to a talent pool that you wouldn't have had otherwise and improves the quality of research.
T_T I'd have an anxiety attack in a classroom that big. Holy crap it can seat like 500 students O_O. I thought the univeristy classrooms here were big geeeez! I can't wait till I go to Japan *_*...must wait till I'm fluent in the language though. Haha, I don't want them picking on the outsider who cant speak Japanese =(. Then I'll be trilingual. Spanish, French, and Japanese :D! Hopefully I'll get to live there :o!
Jaja compared to that university and all that extreme equipment and resources, the institutions here in latin american are almost toys universities, that is the truth though it sounds hard to accept.

also HongKong University overtook 東京大学 to became the best university in
ASIA in 2010.!
