@cenationfan98 The more relevant question is how computers SHOULD you install it on? The answer is of course.... NONE. Get Microsoft Security Essentials or one of the others that alexandermciscoolert suggested in the top comment instead.

All these antivirus programs are a racket. I have spent quiet a bit of money with AVG,Norton,McCafee and numerous other so called programs with no good results. Save your money and just buy a new computer.

Never been a fan of norton, or mcafee. I use microsoft security essentials, malware bytes, and super anti-spyware, and I have never gotten anything bad.

This is flat out one of the best products I have ever used. Upgrade to 2011 was simple and fast. Since I have had the program I have never had a virus, trojan, or any of the other crap that is out there on the internet.

@Nathan21122012 i Don't think so,passed one month that i have installed Norton antivirus 2011 and i have no trouble!i have 2 Gigabyte of ram.Norton antivirus is not slowing down my computer,Norton makes my computer to work better.And with Antivirus comes one tool(Performs background tasks)...if i download a file with virus it fully removes,if i disable Antivirus auto-protect,of course that the virus crashes my system.is not good to disable Antivirus auto protect.Thank you And bye

Wow that map thing that shows the threats is pretty cool. So is that program. My friend bought Norton Anti-Virus 2010 for his new laptop that was like 700 bucks back in the beginning of 2010. It is kept him virus free since 2010 and he plans on getting Norton Anti-Virus 2011. When I get the money, I am going to start buying Anti-Virus programs. I have been running downloaded free versions of anti virus programs since like 2007. But it works. Something like norton ought to work better. thumbs up!

@wheely132 if you have 2010 and its activated the upgrade to 2011 is free. the license is the only thing you have to update.

The paid version of AVG is better than the free version, and also better than Norton 2011.

Though I have to admit, Norton 2011 looks pretty sweet with the black and gold.
