a) Removal of the hood (or prepuce) of the clitoris. This procedure is, to some degree, analgous to male circumcision since in both cases, no part of the sexual organ is cut off.
b) Removal of the entire clitoris (clitorectomy) along with part of the labia minora, which is satured together leaving an opening. This is a form of mutilation.
c) Pharaonic Procedure involving removal of entire clitoris and stitching them back. (mutilation)

The second type and third type are definitely haram in Islam due to the removal of the organs. So your context of *mutilation* is haram in Islam and therefore not promoted by Islam at all. Note that mutilation involves the removal of organs.

These are hadeeths and considered to be as a secondary source in Islam. Never equal to the Quran. If you say that the bible forbids circumcision, Jesus (PBUH) was circumcised anyway.

And that hadith is considered "daif" i.e weak by the writer itself.

But regarding the FGM issue, it's a weak hadith as most scholar dismiss it's authenticity.

For Judaism there's 2 different central text i.e Bavli and Yerushelmi Talmuds Occasionally there's differences between the two, and when this happens most of the time the people would only accept the Bavli Talmud as correct, and denying the Yerushelmi Talmud. So the law is chosen according to the Bavli.
@ahmadaz96001 You cannot apply the same for Judaism since the torah was given to 12 tribes and each tribe got a different tradition set from God himself, so there is no contradiction, even if talmuds are different.
In islam however, the Quran says that all the people are the same and there must not be split in islam, so what kind of god gives different traditions? it is a big contradiction.
P.S. there is no witness for the authenticity of the quran, so what gives it a 100%?

23sfrb, you should go back to Islaam. then make this duaa surah 3 verse # 8. There is no doubt Amadi's sect is not part of Islaam. Whoever believes that there is a Messenger after Prophet Muhammad, then....
