I think a 40% reduction is homicides is great. It's too high, of course, but a 40% reduction is a big step in the right direction

I also think the homicide rate in the U.S. is too high (5 per 100,000). Homicides tend to be concentrated in urban areas, so the low U.S. rate is misleading
