My Friend who seen everything, explained that the one Police Officer tried to tackle Luis but he broke free and started running down Grove Place while he was pulling out the gun an Officer shot him in the side and he threw the gun and he kept running away and the Police continued to shoot him in the back. I was told they shot him 8 times in his back and 1 in his side. The Police shot him excessively and unnecessarily. My Prayers are with his loved ones. God Bless

I'm not sure if you're an EMT, firefighter, or police officer; but when something like a shooting, hostage situation, barricaded person, or anything where there might be danger happen, EMS and Fire have to wait until the police clear the scene. The FD and EMTs will not enter a scene if it isn't safe. If something happened to them, they'd be one more patient and unable to help whoever really needs it.
