  • love this kiwi song

  • "Dominion Road, just goes for miles right through millions of lives"

    Great comment

  • I love this song! I live in Auckland too. Proud to be a kiwi!

  • Don just gets better and better. Went to Seven Sisters on the weekend (his latest band) and they have some awesome tunes. He is an incredible writer. Captures the essence of being kiwi in just about every phrase he writes.

  • Anyone wanting to check out Dominion Road can "drive" down it using Google Maps. Make sure to look out for that "half way house half way down Dominion Road" lol

  • That really is a good riff

  • Any Aucklander, or the many Kiwis and other people around the world who have called Auckland home, however briefly, can relate to this song!

I loved and hated it with a passion!

Dominion Road, just goes for miles right through millions of lives.

  • Very nice drive actually. Nice wide road, which is basically flat. Lined with plenty of shops in places as well as a few parks. It'd be a nice road to live on (but I prefer West Auckland).

  • @Elmsdale55

Watching this in Helsinki, agh miss Auck some times big time. Top song

  • Does anyone have any ideas about the meaning of this song?

  • The way I interpret it is that the song is primarily about the rebuilding of a life after the breakdown of a marrige. However, in this case it's even deeper as it touches on the guy climbing out of depression and coming to terms with living again.

  • I see what you mean now... Thanks!

  • I miss New Zealand! this song is so awesome.

  • woo hoo finally this has been posted wot a awsome kiwi song

  • I wonder why there had to be a UK version of the video. I dig this one!

  • One of the best Kiwi bands and songs that I have heard

  • w0o0o0o0o0ot! lived thar!

  • Great song. Second best Kiwi band after The Exponents.

  • Just Excellent!!!
