  • Nice to see Russ still has is continuing the Rippingtons introducing the sound to new audience. Jazz is timeless. Good to see Jeff back. I know Russ wanted the Ripps to outlast the Beatles and he accomplished that but I can imagine it is hard to keep a band together indefinitely. Tower of Power has gone to many changes in 42 years and has the base rhythm section back together for the last 14 years. Spyro Gyra is another band that still continues despite the many changes.

  • This is one of my favorite bands and my favorite Jazz band by far; but I have to say that I really miss Scott Breadman and Kim Stone.
