I was definitely waiting for a water temple that would make me want to throw my remote through the TV, but that didn't happen. I also read somewhere that this game was supposed to be like the prequel to the rest. Is that true? Because there's no Hyrule, no Kakiriko Village, no Zoras, and only one Goron. Other than that, though, the game was great. And I love this song :)

@OnDangerousGround8 Yes, thus far you learn Skyward Sword is the prequel to everything and the beginning of the cycle of Links and Zelda's and they pass into new generations to protect the land If you read the 25th anniversary Zelda anthology, Hyrule Historia. Unfortunately its only in Japanese now but there are translators working on it. I recently just learned about it and let me tell you I am no longer confused by this series lol

@ShiraTheZeldaFan The wolf wining in TP was nothing short of a disaster, not only was it unpleasant and annoying, but as you said hard to control and utterly unrewarding.

In this game, the sound is pretty, but it's still ultimately unsatisfying to do. I want to pull out the instrument and play songs at my leisure, something that hasn't been allowed since Wind Waker.

Honestly, I don't hate this at all, in fact it's fine, but what I am disappointed in is that you, the player, never actually learn any songs. It's always this cinematic scene so that Link learns it but you can never just play it.

Although the harp was very pretty, the closest this game ever got to actually playing music was the pumpkin mini-game, which itself was great, but I was hoping for more emphasis on actually playing music than just throwing your wiimote side-to-side.

The dungeons were easy, the bosses were easy and I was left asking, "Where the hell is that Water Temple that I've been waiting to spend hours getting through?". I thought I was gonna get lucky by getting a really long Water Temple in Hero Mode, but I didn't. The harp was the dumbest thing they could come up with.
