  • wow this is just what i need, no need to play through a big amp anymore! picking up an ipad in march so this will be my first buy! great stuff

  • i can this on iphone4?

  • @olegefest There's an iPhone version of AmpliTube and you can get a 4-track recorder via in-app purchase from within it.

  • WOW

  • I am getting this

  • COOL this is sick!!!!!

  • Sick!!!

  • Well, this is good. Now I just need an iPad 2 :) (and thats the hard part of it)

  • I've checked your website for additional information on how to get the DrumTracks...but ehm, sorry can't find it :/

  • @jolli93 if you go to contact support they will help you. We can't put links in here...

  • Hi, is this a free product for i pad 2 ? or do you have to pay for effects etc?

    Cheers

  • @Darrenholmes There is a free version available at the App Store. If you like it, you can either buy gear as in-app purchases or buy the full version.

  • Hi,I wanna ask can I record my guitar with my own effect pedal??

such as some shift pitch pedal, flanger pedal??

  • @Zuzweit You can try to put it before iRig but results will vary, hard to say what pedals may or may not sound good. Experiment!

  • Do you want a banrd new iPad 2 ? Check out: goo.gl\8ONjl

  • hi.

is it possible to record live drums via a microphone using the irig ?

  • @bleskdrsny Hi, you'd be much better off using iRig Mic for that. You can hear drum recordings using iRig Mic on our web site

  • what a kind of guitar effect is on 0:16 - 0:23 ?

  • are there ready drum tracks? if not where to get drum tracks?

  • @iannyrockwell You can get DrummerTracks that you can import from your PC/Mac on our site.

  • Can I use the alesis io dock with amplitude 2 ?

  • @zitosonic Right now AmpliTube doesn't use the 30-pin dock port. Stay tuned, though, there may be news on that front. We'll post about it if/when it happens. Thanks!

  • nice work.

Is it possible to edit / loop / paste the recorded line ?

  • where can i find the drum rhythmus??

  • @thomykosta We have DrummerTracks that you can import. Check our site for more information

  • Can you plug the end of your stompbox chain (stereo outputs) into the I PAD - a lot of us spend a fortune on our guitar rig to get "that tone" - and this is what we want to record - rather than built in simulated effects - they can be handy but i have a 3000 pounds worth of buotique effects and amplifier that i have agonised over for years - this is what i want to record.

  • Is this product compatible with Apogee JAM Guitar Input?

  • @WackoRhailent Not at the moment but we are looking to add support for the 30-pin input devices (but no solid timeline yet)

  • nice

  • can this be used along with garageband at the same time?

  • is it possible to use this like an iMAC and record as a band into it? :)

  • Can you have a stereo input to plug a mixer into the iPad?

  • i have an iphone 4 and i just bought irig and the amplitube app. i was wondering though how can i make the sound output from my iphone speakers rather than headphones or my amp which i have bought the connector cable for.

  • @vjb1994 You can send it to an amp, the enclosed sheet has recommended cabling and such.

  • @ikmultimedia i do use it with my amp and with the headphones but is it possible to play through iphone's speakers is what i am asking.

  • @vjb1994 Not while using iRig

  • how do u get it to go through amp and also not have feed back

  • Ok! I'll buy it, I hope it comes as soon as possible so as to I use with my Samsung Galaxy S. Thanks, I'm still Amplitube's fan! Hugs from Brazil!!!

  • Hey, you still ignore android sistem? I'm an amplitube's fan. In a moment the competition is going to launch something like that for android the Ikmultimedia will miss this niche market ... Right now is the time...

  • @mauriciotav Who said we ignore it? We have a team looking at Android and only recently did the Android OS begin to start showing signs of supporting low-latency audio required for an app like AmpliTube. We still won't have a product available soon, but progress is being made on the OS and we do have people looking at it so.......

  • You have talents

  • is it possible to use a normal jack adapter?

  • that guitar tone is really catchy , i am learning it by ear, oh yeah and the app is awesome i recomend to anyone who wants to have fun with music, very fun app to play around with

  • Sorry but did you record bass an electric guitar right to the i pad, without a Mic?

  • @lobotreas iRig allows you to record all of those without a mic, yes.

  • @lobotreas

The app does the amp simulation :) just like amplitube on a mac/pc

  • @adam10603 as well as recording (especially good with the 4-track add-on), master FX, etc

  • @adam10603 so if you have an ipad you don't need a recording studio?))

  • @lobotreas If you have an iPad you don't need to drag your studio with you to get your creative ideas recorded. Especially if you already have an iPad, this is VERY convenient.

  • @lobotreas

    exactly

plug your guitar straight into the ipad (with the iRig) and it will do the amp sounds, cabs, mics, effects etc. for you. You don't need anything else

  • Wait, so how'd you use the mic? With iMic?

  • @ikmultimedia sorry to keep asking you, but are you absolutely sure that it works with garageband on the iPad 2?

  • @alshamal12 Yes we've used it ourselves. Contact support for more info

  • It works with GarageBand right?

  • @alshamal12 Yes we did another video using it with GarageBand as we tested as soon as we got it. Thanks!

  • @ikmultimedia so theres no point in getting the apogee JAM guitar imput which is alot more expensive?

  • @ikmultimedia also, does it work with both the ipad 1 and the ipad ? thanks for the help,

  • @alshamal12 Yes it works with both iPad and iPad 2

  • @IAppleJ It works very well on iPad 2. If you are having issues, please contact support.

  • Sounds good!

  • does the i rig and amplitude work on the touch also?

  • Is there instruction I can download. I can't record over my rhythm

  • @Toronzo Click the ? icon for help, then there is a link at the end to the full online manual

  • hi there, hope you can help

i got the full ipad version plus the 8 track recorder today and am having a strange problem. when i import a song that i want to play over or if i record a track using the recorder for some reason it applies whatever amplitude effects pedals im using to the song as well as the guitar!

for example, if i record a clean rhythm section on track one and then record a distortion lead section on track 2 it also applies the effect to the clean rhythm section too...any ideas?

  • @igetcha69 Make sure the "Insert FX" are not enabled on the imported track. If that's not it, contact support, we cannot do proper tech support in YouTube comments. Thanks

  • @ikmultimedia

hi mate, thanks for the reply.....

yeah i had disabled the "insert fx" so i will contact customer support for help

    cheers

    scott

  • @igetcha69 I had same prob. Customer support helped: Apparently because the audio input and output in the headphone jack are so close together, sounds tend to "bleed through". To fix this, when you are recording a track with FX, go to "setup" and drop the output level all the way down. When you record the playback will sound a bit "muted" but when you are done recording, raise the output back to normal, and you will see that you're track recorded properly without FX bleeding to other tracks.

  • @egonz10

okay mate, thanks for the advice :D

  • Where do you get the drums???

  • @samrooks123 You can import any drum tracks, but we do have DrummerTracks available on our site.

  • Amazing video. love AmpliTube, thinking of getting the full 8 track recorder, but i am confused, can each one of your track have different effects on.

  • @Walshe2010 You need to "Apply FX" to print them. Running 8 instances of AmpliTube would be murder on the iPad.

  • omg..you guys are just not playing fair anymore..

wtf ?????? you guys are singlehandledly trying to put everyone out of business...you can do everything with your stuff why do i need any other hardware or amps or any other damn thing??

    its just unreal lol...

i dont have an ipad so this doesnt apply to me but when is this in store?? the interface just looks so sexy lol..you should have some like this for regular laptops

  • @dopemcee it is already in the app store! Hope you get a device you can use this stuff on :)

  • How did you record the mic?

And lets say you recorded the perfect take on the electric guitar, but then realized you came in a few measures too early, can you move the recording or do you just have to delete it and redo it?

  • @versaln You posed a good question that Amplitude hasn't answered. I have the iPad and loaded it up with the 8 channel recorder. I wouldn't expect it to be able to slide a track (Which would be cool) but as far as I can see you can't delete a track either. You can mute it, but you CAN NOT DELETE A TRACK's Contents! Perhaps there's a way, I'm new to iRig, but if there is it's not intuitive so I don't think you can.

How about it IKMultimedia, how do you delete a track?

    Thanks

  • @ClubEastman Deleting a track is in the help within the app and the full manual (also available from within the app). Hold the "arm" button for 3+ seconds. You can easily delete a track this way so the all caps indication that one cannot do so is misleading here.

  • @ikmultimedia Ok, I've confirmed track deletion ability by pressing and holding the arm button. I know I tried that but must not have held it long enough. As for the app help, I've looked again and I see nothing in there about deleting a track, only arming the track. Again I'm using the 8 channel iPad version, not the 4 channel iTouch. Thanks

  • Cheers!!

  • Can you plug your guitar onto the iPod/ iPad and then into an amp? What are your options with that?

  • @IKISSEDELMO The iRig comes with a sheet that has the recommended cabling for that situation. Best bet on that is 1/8" stereo to DUAL 1/4" mono with one of the dual leads into your amp

  • Awesome Video! Just bought one and love it; but still confused (Guys at Best buy didn't help much). With it, can I buy a splinter so I could connect my mic (1/4 in connector), AND guitar at the same time? Also How did you get such great quality transferred to youtube? I'm SUPER foreign to this stuff. I have a 3g iphone to play and the Ipod 4 touch to film, but do I connect great audio quality by another cable, or maybe if I use my camera do you have an extra cable, or just the Camera mic? Thanks

  • This was one of the greatest things i´ve ever seen, as far as technology goes. Completely mindblowing!

  • @totalovrkl Thanks! It is a lot of fun to use, I can assure you :)

  • that's sick

  • @amanbansil Thanks!

  • Why am I still sitting in this dark studio.. Why??

  • nice!

  • Amazing !! !

  • so does amplitube 2 only gives you the possibility to record songs ?

  • @ListeNROck11 The free update from AmpliTube iPad v1 to v2 will include one-track recording and reamping and the in-app purchase of the 8-track recorder that rivals standalone apps (yet also works with the best guitar sounds on iPad in one app) is cheaper than many of those standalone apps.

  • Very nice IK!

  • @MetalAges Thanks!

  • Wow,this will be a fantastic upgrade. Can't wait for it! Interface looks great, and sounds and possibilities are excellent!

P.s. Where can I get a shirt like that guitar player has?;-)

  • @reinierzoutendijk Thank you! You can get the shirts in our store under "Soft-Wear" and the AmpliTube Soft-Wear

  • will this be a free upgrade for those of os that have already purchased? when will the ipad version 2 be available?

  • @supacat789 if you have AmpliTube iPad v1 you will get free updates which includes 1-track recording. 8-track recording and Master FX is available via in-app purchase

  • Impressive!

  • @celticgibson Thanks! We're doing our best to bring our years of audio programming expertise to you as useful full-featured tools on your PC, Mac, and now iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad... Raising the bar!
