I visited Salz back in 95, your cheeky little video did teach me like 3 things.....but NEVER ONCE covered the awesomeness of the castle proper ...or its centuries difference in the building of its STAGES. the vid did show several churches...

My parents went to Salzburg ( Parsch ) after WW2 from Russia. My sister Maria was born in Salzburg. I was made in Salzburg, but born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I;ve been to BEAUTIFUL Salzburg many times. Now I spend summers in Chicago, and winters in Miami and Rio de Janeiro, crazy world !!

oktoberfest1810 Yes I've been to many countries. One interesthing thing is in Miami I have a house in area called Miami Lakes. About two years ago my neighbor sold his house and the person who bought the house is from Austria ( Linz ). I was shocked, what a coincidence, I was absolutely surprised. So now we drink beer together , very nice !!!!

Amazing place. Peaceful, clean, and inviting. Loved the Monks' beer garden, the lively Australian hostel, and being such a bike-friendly city! The gardens are well-manicured and they have such a wonderful pace-of-life there! Go visit!

I was there in 1990 and Ioved it. One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to, though I ate a few too many Mozartkugeln (chocolates with Mozart's picture on the wrapper). The people were really friendly, too, which makes all the difference. I long to go back.

Great decision to visit Salzburg. From Vienna by rail is simple, trains depart Vienna Westbahnhof hourly and take 3 hours to reach Salzburg central station. By road from Vienna is also easy, only a 2.5-hour straight drive on the A1 autobahn. Hope that helps. Have fun!

i visited salzburg in 2007/2008 winter. i visited munchen and innsbruck also, but nothing, i repeat , NOTHING COMPARED TO SALZBURG!! my dream was to visit salzburg someday, as Mozart for me is something divine, but i thought it was only dreams. but i am a lucky girl!!
