@TheReaLIbuki I believe only the first hit can be dash canceled, at least for the juggle. For just a dash reset wait for the animation for the punch to finish to dash.

How do you connect light neck breaker after target combo 6? Is there a special command for it or its just the timing? I cant seem to do the move where u did combo 6, light neck breaker into ultra 1. Please help, thanks in advance

I am an incredibly frustrated Ibuki player, I have not won a single match with her and lost 900PP trying to use her, I've practiced countless combo's and the vortex and nothing works...I really have no idea what I am supposed to do anymore :(

@TheBoredomOtaku Well all her matches are pretty tight 5-5 meaning she has a 50% chance of winning. Personally I find the most important thing for her is her spacing you dont want to be too far but not too close. If someone is in your face do a ex.dp and dont go up to them rather back up and space your self to what you feel comfortable with her.

@TheHollowBlade Well I went back to the labs, I seem fine confusing a lot of shoto characters into mashing out DP's but I have some trouble against Boxer and Guile, Boxer seems pretty annoying to try and approach and Guile's sonic booms recover to quickly for me to pass through them with EX Neckbreaker or the Medium kicks unless I do them before they come out. Any ideas on how to approach them?

@TheBoredomOtaku Yeah IMO boxer, Guile and bison are 3 of Ibukis worst matchups well.. Boxer really isnt I just dont know how to fight him but guile is really though, Ive been watching Ibuki vs guile matches and it seems you just need to stay near him and make bait out a flash kick. As for boxer remember raidia beats pretty much EVERYTHING lol.

wow, this is SO great , thank you sir. I AM only 2months old on Street Fighter game of any kind, have always wanted to play it, but parents never allowed (of study, get good grades) but now I have my chance, I actually got in touch with sf4 from ipod app, ended up buying xbox and ssf4ae, and suck pretty bad, currently practice with ken but like ibuki too, thats how I found your video.

@KrsnaBhakta Thanks man, I do own a madcatz stick and i love it to death. I am not that good either dont worry. learning the character and being able to execute against players is 2 different things. And i struggle to do the right thing at the right time. Practice makes perfect and dont worry about loosing. Dont get mad ask your self WHY did you loose what did you do that caused you to loose? was it execution bad jump ins ect. what did he do to win? how can you stop him from doing it.

That is the biggest problem right now, ( I am ashamed but, in battle I turn into a masher lol) but I am also in the phase of getting the feel of the whole arcade stick, my hit-confirms are poor.

Currently, I go to challenge and try and practice the heck out of combos and use it in versus against bots, is this a good strategy?

@KrsnaBhakta Thats a good idea for general but with ibuki or other mixup heavy characters its not the greatest idea to practice against bots. The bots will block and and everything if they so choose to. They choose to get hit or not too so your mixup practice will not be very good. other characters like ken you can learn a few things but bots are not the best way to practice. I dont expect you to go play against good players online either because at your level it wont really teach you anything.

@RealRussianStandard No one is too dumb, to practice. Once you get the hang of things the game will start piecing itself together. Find a simple strategy that works for you and build upon it. Thats how I learned her, and How i learned the game. At least for the bit I know now.

Thanks a ton for this tutorial. Im an old school player when there were no dash combo cancels, breaks, etc. Now Im getting back into this, and the game got so complicated. @acmasta619 I noticed that patience is key, If you notice they mash shoryuken on wakeup and durring your combos bate it out. On wake up the best thing to do is to attept a safe jump even if its not well timed chances are if the person you are facing is mashing they dont see the difference between a well timed jump and a non well timed one. and when doing a combo unless its a target combo just drop it on purpose to get him to dp and punish with a safe option that he cant dp.

@rapymetal5 Yeah thats just lack of practice on a certain side. I cant do a consistent DP from I think its the right side of the screen sometimes of every move she has I will get a penguin kicks rather than dp. Its just practice sit in practice mode and either practice the combo wile on the right or sit there and practice the motion. Thats what I do wile I wait for the game to load.

I love this video, much appreciated since I play ibuki. I just cant for the love of me supercancel into ultra 2. With akuma(which i dont play) i can teleport cancel into his ultra 2 9 out of 10 times. But with ibuki i cant superjump cancel at all. Ive dont it once in a billion attempts. I always end it at the right place (quarter up).
