Union is not predecessor audi, audi emblem was copied from the union badge.

@MrFerraristadoc I made my Final Exam about the History of August Horch and Audi and you are right but in 1969 the "Auto Union GmbH" and the "NSU AG" merged to the "Audi NSU Auto Union AG" !

Since the 1. January 1985 the "Audi NSU Auto Union AG" is the "Audi AG" and the Products of NSU and Auto Union will marked under the name Audi!

@Napalmvieh gar kein schlechter vergleich, befor die Kreiskoblenmotoren gebaut wurden, wurden ja auch ganz normale reihen- oder V- motoren in den Flugzeugen verbaut. Auch heute werden noch viele Propellermaschinen mit Reihe und V gebaut.

That is the BEST example of a SNARLING motor I have heard in a very long time! Mean and NASTY, just like the handling these cars exhibited...you simply cannot drive them like modern cars. In skilled hands like Nuvolari they were things of grace and beauty.

I have seen several Auto Union videos. These cars were AMAZING! is good to know that there are a live again, and in careful hands
