  • I made a small pvc pipe about 15 inches long with an end cap on one side and a threaded top so it can be opened by unscrewing the screwcap. I made it to put a ChrisTmas present in years ago. This would probably work great for a Geocache container. :) (BTW, I used PVC cement for gluing the parts together).

BTW, Thanks for all the great videos on Geocaching.

  • splendid collection

  • You should use a end cap and PVC glue, a lot easer and safer, (water tight). If you want, use the test cap for the bottom of the other end of the U piece, no glue.

  • Always like your videos. Keep making them

  • I swear I was looking for how to make my own pipe to smoke weed lol okay...

  • Free pipe screens!

Steal the sink filters from public toilets!

  • @mckt007 Well alrighty then...

  • where did you find the test caps?

  • Should be in any major hardware store. I found mine at Lowe's.

  • Hey baysword,

Great question. You absolutely can use PVC glue when it comes to bonding the pvc componants. The reason I used epoxy in this case is because I also glue magnets to the side of the pipe as well and was killing two birds with one stone. Feel free to use pvc glue it works great.

  • Why not use PVC glue?
