He went on to break many more in the NFL. But to Barry Sanders it wasnt about the records the fame or the money. Which is what set him apart from almost if not all athletes in modern sports. Truly a class act all the way

-Sanders rushed for 2,628 yards, an NCAA record.

-He had 3,249 total yards, an NCAA record.

-Sanders scored 39 TDs (37 rushing, 1 kick return, 1 punt return), an NCAA record.

-He averaged 7.6 yards per carry.

-He rushed for 300+ yards in four games.

This was all during an 11-game regular season and him many times sitting out for whole 4th quarters! Unreal.

couldnt agree more.. they said he was too small..but hes got the speed moves and mental toughness.. and then hands the ball back..he doesnt put his foot on it and pretends hes an eagle or any of that.. good RB inspires me on how i play..like in one video..type in coreys touchdown and click on the first one
