Honestly.... i can't believe fans of the gorillaz are dissing this album... they did this while ON TOUR (that means that they're playing shows AND recording music FOR YOU, THE CONSUMER) and on an iPad... i would love to see someone do better, i for one could not.

I really like that the gorillaz change and develop like a real live band. Though I they should animate something almost feature film length to tell the story of the band, theres a lot there to work with and i know i would watch it.

In the Gorillaz Universe, it seems that 2D is the main songwriter for the Gorillaz's new ablum "The Fall. ' Noodle was the main songwriter for " Demon Days.' Murdoc seem to have been the main songwriter for' "Escape to Plastic Beach". Of course, 2D did help Murdoc when it comes to editing Plastic Beach.

@rgreed20081 The first album was pretty much carried by Del Tha Funkee Homosapien. The blue ghost that lives in Russels brain. So you could say that each character has been the main influence of their own album.

@rgreed20081 Damon Albarn is the main songwriter for everything Gorillaz does. Seeing as how he, and Jamie Hewlett (the tank girl comic co-creator) are the only real members of the band, and the fact that those animated characters aren't any more real than the drawings Hewlett does. Sorry had to G-check.
